VAL invents original stories, and can weave in whatever the child loves: their favourite animal, their own name, the things in their day. A tale about trains, birds, boats and cars that settles down into a proper, cosy ending.

The shape of a good goodnight

A bedtime story has a job: to wind a child down, not up. That means slower pacing, softer turns, and an ending that lands like a held breath finally let go.

Every night, new, never repeated, tuned to send a child gently toward sleep.

None of this is about doing more. It’s about protecting the small, ordinary moments where a child’s curiosity actually grows, and getting out of their way while it does.

That’s the thinking behind everything we build. VAL isn’t a device that does things; it’s a someone who’s there, and everything we make should feel like that: alive, kind, and quietly trustworthy.
