How buying, reserving, and returning a VAL works. We want this to feel like a fair, unhurried purchase, not a trap with fine print.
Plain-language draft, shown to design the page. It hasn’t been through legal review yet, so please don’t treat it as the final agreement.
Orders and reservations
When you reserve a VAL, you’re holding a place in line, with nothing to pay until yours is ready to ship. When you place a full order, we’ll confirm it by email. Occasionally we may be unable to fulfil an order; if that happens, we’ll tell you and refund anything you’ve paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you commit, including what’s covered and what isn’t. We take payment securely and never store full card details ourselves. Taxes and shipping, where they apply, are shown at checkout, never sprung on you afterwards.
Shipping
We’ll give you an honest estimate of when VAL will arrive and keep you updated if it moves. Risk passes to you once it’s delivered, but see the next section, we’d rather make things right than argue about timing.
Returns and warranty
If VAL isn’t right for your family, you can return it within the return window for a refund. If something goes wrong that isn’t down to ordinary wear or an accident, the warranty covers it. Reach out and we’ll sort it out without a fuss.
- Change of mind: return in its original condition within the stated window.
- Faulty on arrival: we’ll replace or refund, your choice.
- Trouble later: contact support and we’ll repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
Cancelling
You can cancel a reservation any time before it ships, at no cost. For paid orders, you can cancel before dispatch for a full refund.
Talk to a human
If anything here is unclear, or you just want to check something before you decide, we would rather you asked. Write to hello@val.family and a real person will get back to you.
